Standing up Tall is the minute release from Jazz Star Bob James Baldwin, and is some other winner from this gifted musician.
It’s a rarified day indeed that I get a CD from an artist that I can truthfully say makes not have a big track in the bunch. I’m more than felicitous to denote thats precisely what I must state about this one. There but is Non a big one in the bunch. No makeweights here at all.
Standing up Tall has a sunnily varied, mix of 12 tracks that are very good written songs by this intelligibly gifted artist. Most of the songs display a good deal of the kind emotion that makes for a truly great take heed. Clearly draftsmanship from what I can only imagine are him own personal experiences. At unlike points stirring on the most existent emotions like love, brokenheartedness, pain, neglected relationships and unachievable romance. Theyre all here.
If you’re even gently into Jazz euphony you’ll relish this album. Overall Standing up Tall is an an outstanding release. I yield it my double thumbs up. You will non be defeated with one individual track.
Overall Standing up Tall is prominent from setting about to terminate. One of those Cadmiums that after a few takes heed the songs are simply etched into your remembering. A must have for the Idle words fan. Truly spectacular from setting out to terminate.
While this entire album is genuinely very full the really standout tunes are track 3 - To a fault Late, track 10 - She’s Individual, Ready To Unify, and track 6 - Where Are You Locomoting?.
My SmoothLee Fillip Pick, and the one that acquired Sore [...as in "Deposited On Retell"] is tailed 8 - Everybody Loves The Sun. What a decent track!
